We believe that student voice and creativity empowers our community and so we created the SAISD Student Voice Gallery to spotlight some of our students' amazing creations with the world. In 2019-2020, SAISD schools won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the MS/HS category and 2nd, 3rd, with 2 honorable mentions. Watch 1st place winning film, "Annie and the Old One" by students at Young Women's Leadership Academy. See the presentation with all videos below.
National Poetry Month - April 2020
This year, we celebrated National Poetry Month by hosting a virtual poetry slam. We saw so many amazing and inspirational videos so it made it difficult to choose some to share. In 2019-2020, SAISD hosted our first SAISD Student Film Festival. Students were asked to create animations, short films, and documentaries. We have picked a few submissions to spotlight here but click below to view the other submissions. Be on the lookout for the 2020-2021 Film Festival.
